Privacy Policy

Your conversations are yours. This policy explains what information STICKAPP collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 2026

In short: We use the information needed to operate STICKAPP and track points and cashback. We do not collect your messages, conversations, or contact list, and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

STICKAPP is based in France. This policy describes how STICKAPP handles personal data on stickapp.io, the pre-registration forms, and the planned STICKAPP member app and Partner Portal. We are preparing incorporation as a French SASU; legal entity details will be updated when registration is complete.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@stickapp.io.

2. Data we collect

  • Pre-registration and account data: name, email address, country, age range and how you heard about us, if you provide them. Partner contacts may also provide company name, industry, company size, website, and a message.
  • Usage and technical data: basic device/browser information, log data, and interactions with the site or app needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
  • Sticker and rewards activity: stickers shared, engagement events, points, tier status, offers claimed, eligible purchases or conversions, and cashback records where applicable. We use these events for rewards, fraud prevention, and aggregated partner reporting.
  • Support and payment-related details: information you give us when contacting support or requesting a cashback claim, including the payment method details necessary to process that claim through an appropriate provider.

Before launch, our website collects the information you submit through the member or partner pre-registration forms. App-related data described above applies when those features become available.

3. What we don’t collect

STICKAPP does not collect, read, store, or analyze the content of your messages or private conversations. We do not access or upload your phone’s contact list. We record relevant sticker and rewards events, not the surrounding chat. Your choice to share a sticker does not grant us access to your correspondence.

4. How and why we use data

  • To manage pre-registration, notify you about launch, and respond to questions you send us.
  • To create and maintain member or partner accounts and provide sticker, campaign, and support features.
  • To calculate points, membership tiers, eligible purchases, and purchase-based cashback; to handle claims and prevent fraud.
  • To provide partners with performance reporting and improve the safety and effectiveness of the service using aggregated analytics where possible.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and security obligations.

Depending on the activity, our legal basis under the GDPR is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, your consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies or optional marketing), or compliance with a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. Data sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers that host the website, store submissions, process payments, deliver emails, or help secure and operate STICKAPP, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Partners receive campaign performance information; we favor aggregated reporting and do not disclose private messages or contact lists.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or in a business reorganization subject to appropriate protections. If personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we will use an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism and safeguards. Contact us for details about specific providers or transfers.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including the waitlist, account operation, support, fraud prevention, and applicable legal or accounting requirements. When no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized, subject to lawful retention obligations. You may request deletion at any time as described below.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data, including access controls and secure transmission, and restrict access to people and providers who need it. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; if you believe your data has been compromised, email us promptly.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

Depending on your circumstances, you may request access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability of data you provided, or object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

To exercise these rights, email support@stickapp.io. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL, or your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies or local storage to keep the site and service working and secure. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will provide the information and choices required by law and ask for consent where required. Your browser may also let you block or remove cookies, though some features may then not work correctly.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product develops or the law changes. The date above shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
